AI for gaming studios

Home turf — this is where we came from

Gaming is the industry we left to start this firm, and the industry we still run our most ambitious engagements in. The reason the firm exists is that the operational discipline required to run a live-ops hit maps almost perfectly onto the operational discipline that enterprise AI requires. Gaming studios already have this discipline. The question is what to point it at.

Our founder has led products at PopCap (EA), NaturalMotion (Zynga) and Wooga (Playtika), including Plants vs. Zombies 2, CSR Racing and June's Journey — three titles with combined lifetime revenue in excess of $5 billion. The Berlin studio work at Ten Square Games is a separate 0-to-1 studio build. We don't need to be explained how a live-ops build meeting runs.

For gaming studios, AI engagements split into four familiar shapes. Live-ops intelligence — cohort modelling, offer personalisation, event balancing, economy tuning. Content generation — asset pipelines, localisation, narrative iteration where editorial standards matter. Player analytics — churn prediction, LTV cohorts, whale detection that survives anti-pattern scrutiny. UA and creative intelligence — ad creative iteration at the rate UA teams actually need it.

Where we help

Four workstreams we see repeatedly

Live-ops intelligence

Offer targeting, event cadence modelling, economy tuning. Alexandria agents plugged into your live-ops data pipeline.

Content pipelines

Asset generation, localisation, narrative iteration. Editorial standards on what the AI ships versus what needs a human pass.

Player analytics

Churn, LTV, segmentation models. Honest reporting on what the models are actually attributable for.

UA + creative

Ad creative iteration, creative fatigue modelling, paid-channel decisioning. Built for UA teams that measure in hours, not quarters.

Fit

When our team is the right call

  • Live-service mobile, PC or web games with meaningful DAU and transaction volume
  • Studios that want AI that respects their live-ops discipline, not overrides it
  • Publishers consolidating AI across a portfolio and needing a defensible platform decision
  • Studios exploring interactive narrative or generative systems where editorial judgement matters

If your profile doesn't match any of these, we'd rather tell you on the first call. We'll point you to someone better suited — and mean it.
